We’ll be introducing several new features in December, and I’d like to give you a sneak preview of what’s coming. The most visible change is going to be our new payment interface, which you can completely customize on screen to better match your web site’s look and feel. Better on-screen instructions for SMS payments will help consumers better understand and use SMS payments. Minors Protection enables merchants to use a voluntary spending limit per user in order to prevent future chargebacks. And last but not least, new languages both on the screen and on the phone to better serve global customers!

Hello ! DaoPay is a good Idea
I have a question : Can I receive my payment DaoPay on Paypal ?
February 9, 2009 at 9:42 am |
@Get:
Yes, absolutely, we pay out via PayPal after the end of every month + 60 days.
To enter your PayPal account information, please log in to your daopay Control Center, then choose “My Account” and “Customer” from the menu. On this screen, switch the field “Payout Type” to “PayPal” and click the “Save” Button.
In a second step, please go to “Payouts – Bank Data“, and in the field E-Mail Address enter you PayPal account e-mail address where you want to receive payments.
That’s quite a few steps – I’ve filed a bug report to make this process easier; thanks for your hint!

quote “in order to prevent future chargebacks”
The home page markets there are no chargebacks with Daopay
What’s the story there guys?
Not going PayPal on us are you?

@gazouteast
I’m not sure what you mean with “PayPal on us”, but I suppose for now it’s not meant in a positive way
We do employ a Zero Chargeback Guarantee in almost all of the 200+ countries we operate in. There are a few exceptions to the rule due to country-specific regulations:
Canada
Germany
Italy
Romania
Spain
United States
You’re right that that’s not listed on the web site; I’m going to fill that in immediately. Thanks for hinting me to it!

The cashout to paypal can it be done in a weak ?
March 23, 2009 at 1:37 pm |
@Alex, regarding PayPal in a week: payouts are sent 60 days after the end of each month, for SMS payments and calls from Romania and Saudi Arabia after 90 days.
Does that answer your question, Alex?

Hi, I’m interested in DaoPay but have a few questions.
Are payout rates about where you live or where you get calls from? For example, if I live in Sweden, does it mean that I get a 55% payout because I live in Sweden or does it mean I get a 55% payout from people who call from Sweden.
Are the phone and SMS solutions in the same package or different?
Are there any monthly, setup, etc. fees?
How can payouts be sent to the merchant? Bank only?
Thanks for your time!

@Andreas,
Charges vary so much because of the different network carrier fees, country regulations, etc. Just mentioning it, because people are so easily scared away by the high fees
)
payout rates are about where your buyers are calling from. You’d receive 55% from people who call from Sweden. (And while I’m at it: the 55% is not because we’re greedy folks who’re trying to shamelessly rip you off
Phone and SMS are in the same package; we treat SMS payments simply as just another payment option.
No monthly or setup fees whatsoever.
We prefer bank wire transfers for many reasons, mainly because PayPal is a bit of a pain. We can do PayPal though, but it’s by far more expensive (PayPal charges very high currency conversion fees).
Best, Andreas

@Shondhi,
I’ve just checked with our finance department, and they told me that we should be able to wire to Bangladesh bank accounts. We would require your complete bank details – please inquire with your bank on what’s needed for receiving overseas transfers, as these work entirely differently than domestic transfers. Your bank will also be able to provide you with details about any charges that may occur.
I hope this is a helpful answer for you, Shondhi! Let me know if not

Hi,
i have a question concerning the customers of our website and their country of residence. Is it possible to get a monthly report, where I can see from which countries the calls or the sms’s are coming? Thanks for a quick reply:)

I have made a daopay account to sell software with phone calls (easyPIN). I have understood how to use it with my php scripts, but my questions are:
If, for example, the application which I want to sell costs 2€:
-how much money of mobile credit customer pays with phone call?
(2€, more or less)
-how much of that money come to my daopay account?
(2€, more or less)
-if I have 50€ on daopay account, how much of that will I get on my
Paypal account after those 60 days of transfer?
(50€, more or less)
thank you

Hello,
Basically you can charge any prize you want. The pay-outs, i.e., the money you receive in your account, however vary from country to country. In order to get a first impression, have a look here.
Furthermore, one of my colleagues will contact you via e-mail and explain everything to you.
Best regards,
